Thermo-Lock V - Thermo-Lock™ provides the ultimate in sound and heat energy management for your hot tub. Its unique thermal barrier recycles radiant heat energy providing fast, more efficient heating and energy-cost reduction. It's applied to the sealed ABS base prohibiting heat loss through the floor. All sides and floor are lined with reflective material, combined with BlueMAAX® that creates an infrared barrier. Heat energy from the pumps and equipment reflects back to your spa and is absorbed in the plumbing. This helps to raise and maintain the water temperature, improving heat efficiency.
BlueMaax - Exclusive to MAAX Spas, the ThermoLock V insulated system features eco-friendly BlueMAAX insulation. It's made from natural fiber and is approved by the U.S. Green Building Council. The insulation has no chemical irritants and is treated with a borate-based solution to prevent mold and mildew growth, pest infestation and also acts as a fire retardant. BlueMAAX® replaces urethane form that's commonly used in "foam filled" hot tubs. The foam filling process in conventional spas can produce as much as 50 pounds of volatile organic components (VOC's). These VOCs are harmful to our environment. The new energy system allows for easy service access and be worked on at your home.
